Description of problem:
When I run OpenArena in Mandriva 2010.1 One KDE, I only can see the game
console but not the menu and I can do nothing.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
openarena-0.8.1-5mdv2010.1.i586 on Mandriva 2010.1 One KDE.

How reproducible:
Running OpenArena.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Left clic on Star menu
2. Left clic on Games>Arcade
3. Left clic on OpenArena
4. You can see the game console showing some information (may the error code):

Openarena in Mandriva One
2008 and 2009 is Ok but 2010.0 and 2010.1 dont start

game chromium "arcade space ship..

Equal to open arena
2008 and 2009 is Ok but 2010.0 and 2010.1 dont start with a error

IIRC there is a soundwrapper call in EXEC in
/usr/share/applications/mandriva-openarena.desktop

This should be removed.

Removing the soundwrapper doesn't fix openarena.

Looks like your installation is broken , use "urpmi --replacepkgs"

I confirm this bug
Exactly same problem for me (same behaviour and error message).

2010.1, upgraded from a 2010
running gnome, French locale.
Was running ok with 2010


Ran urpmi --replacepkgs openarena openarena-data and still fails
